West Johnston High School Band

WJHS is located in Johnston County, NC. It was established in 2002.
The West Johnston High School band includes the Wildcat Marching Band, West Wind Ensemble, West Symphonic Band, West Jazz Band, two Winterguards and an Indoor Drumline.
The band participates in various community performances and competes in both local and national contests. It is under the direction of M. Lance Britt.
It was North Carolina's Representative at the 55th Presidential Inaugural Parade.
