Alief Taylor Roaring Lion Band
-
The Alief Taylor Marching Band is the most visible performing group in the Taylor band program. The band consists of members of the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Percussion Class, and Color Guard. They perform at all Alief Taylor football games as well as several marching contests each fall. All Alief Taylor band and color guard members are required to be a part of the marching band.

kimball was known as the best band in the state of texas after winning th s.o.c. battle of the bands in dallas for the 2002,2003,2005,and in houston for the years 2004,2nd for the year 2005, and first for the year 2006. kimball also placed 2nd for the s.u. battle of the bands in louisiana. kimball aslo placed a 2 for uil and for concert season they got a 1.

The Pride of Weslaco! WEHS Wildcat Regiment

The Wildcat Regiment is Weslaco East High School's premier marching band. It was founded in 2001 by the Weslaco Independent School District. In keeping with Weslaco tradition that marching bands be named after a military unit, Weslaco East's band was first called the "Regiment" by the first head band director, Mr. Ron Bisset. The Wildcat Regiment is currently a University Interscholastic League Class AAAA Varsity Band.
